If you want to see cool, click through the link and explore their site.
I’ve never seen 3 edsels for sale in the same place.

NO ONE KNOWS
In the mysterious mystical land of Marshall Motors anything is possible. It’s my favorite “save these crazy old cars” website to sift through.

He can just swap in one of his spare 4.0's LOL (that would be insane)

You mean David Tracy’s? That would be cool. Wonder how he’s getting on in the beater XJ to Moab trip, there haven’t been any updates since Friday when he left.

Better question “who doesn’t?”
And if they don’t, they’re a poor poor bastard ;)

Magic. It must be magic.

He’s probably stuck on the side of the road somewhere with no cell service...

Makes sense to me

I even like the color. It’s a heck of a project, but I guess that price isn’t bad since those are pretty damn hard to find. Although I did see a nice beige one driving around L.A. yesterday, funny enough.

WAAAAAAT no way
And yeah the color is kick ass, I’ve never seen another for sale. I can almost guarantee he’d take lower for it.

It was awesome and nicely patina’d. Sometimes I feel like there’s at least one of every car ever made still puttering around southern California somewhere.
There actually is a similar one on my local CL. And it’s been pre-disassembled. Good thing I’m out of room or I’d be really tempted.

Wow.
And good luck finding a 1968 Mercury Montego MX 2 door hard top Cyclone Package
![]() 03/23/2016 at 15:36 |
|
I do remember seeing a Montego Cyclone out here once at a show, but it may not have been a ‘68 and I doubt it was the 2-door hardtop, so you may have me. I know a guy with an X-100 Marauder, though.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 15:37 |

Marauder’s are badass, though they tended to be saved more often.

yeah, took a look. nice quality junk that they have there. most importantly though is that they are not overly proud of it. prices are downright respectable. i was laughing at the front page, where it says layaway is available........ good stuff.
nice find.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 15:43 |

yeah it’s pretty fantastic. I’ve been enjoying their site for years.
Almost bought a 72 Mustang through them before I found the Montego.
The old Cuda with the solid back glass was interesting
They also have a BUBBLEBACK Mercury Capri 5.0L manual car.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 15:52 |

i had looked at one of those in my part of the world(the capri). it was in ROUGH shape, and had one of the rear quarters pushed in, and had been in storage for years. it had been abused, and it showed. it had t-tops and orange stripes over white paint. the price was right, somewhere around a thousand. but i passed on it. one of the coolest looking beaters i had seen.
miles cooler than a regular mustang

Yeah man I love these things. I doubt I’ll ever own one, but I love them.

there are still some kicking about
houston and more houston but theyre not just falling outta the trees anymore. been looking for a 2 door 62 belair(the bubble top one) or a 63 impala convertible. thats gotten exactly nowhere fast. but its one of those searches that takes as long as it takes. i have more time than money, and am about project poor. i COULD swing it.
the want is strong....... but my grip on reality is stronger

BTW you’re right, I took a look at that site, ( http://www.marshallmotorsclassics.com/ ), they have a rather interesting mix of old cars.
Not really any “ferr-in” selection, but being in MI, I wasn’t expecting any either.
![]() 03/24/2016 at 09:40 |

ferr-in?

Fun phonetic way to say “foreign” :)
